Subversion (upgrade your CVS)
Today I had a look at Subversion (quite fresh freeware Version Control system, which announced to be replacement of CVS).
My first impressions are very good in fact. Setup is straightforward, GUI client (builded-in in Explorer) simple and usable. And Subversion has cool new features like directory versioning, full version history (on all actions with files and directories) and effective branching.
I don't no if current version stable enough for serious development, but I am going to use Subversion for my next project.
Also there is a free book about Subversion.
